margie’s story
The day that I learned of my unexpected pregnancy I felt like my world was falling apart. I was entering the biggest storm I had ever experienced, but today I can say that storm has been my greatest blessing: her name is SARA LUNA.
Having arrived in the United States only five months prior to becoming pregnant, I was already facing many challenges in life and the pregnancy was almost too much. I was scared, alone, and full of negativity and denial. I was navigating in the dark, feeling I had no way out. But God knows better, and He led me to Columbia Pregnancy Center, which has now turned into one of my favorite places to visit. There I found respect, acceptance, love, company, support, training, friends, and most important of all, the strength and security any woman needs when facing an unwanted pregnancy. For all of this, I thank God and this place for all their helping hands that helped and accompanied me in this process of seeing my body change while my baby was growing inside. I am about to give birth and soon my princess Sara will be born. I do not have words enough to express how thankful I feel for the Columbia Pregnancy Center. May God grant you and your families many, many blessings.
